Electromagnetic Time Reversal Method to Locate Partial Discharges in Power Networks Using 1D TLM Modelling

چکیده
This letter sets out to describe the first results of design process that will lead a new on-line partial discharge location method based on Electromagnetic Time Reversal theory and using Transmission Line-Matrix method. A description basic steps under is given together with modeling procedure used time inverted signal propagation. Finally, ability locate discharges power cables both two observation points single point proved in simulation.

Detection of Partial Discharges Using Optelectronic Method
The insulation of the high voltage equipment is deteriorated due to the partial discharges (PDs). So it is required to monitor PDs continuously for prediction of insulation life, replacement time and early indication of outages of HV power equipment. In this work, an optical network is used to detect and measure the PDs in a model transformer.
